ANMA – Agence Nicolas Michelin & Associés – is setting up in China to develop architecture and urban planning projects based on ecological principles. In this, the era of sustainable development, it is more than ever urgent to think about urban development and new construction in terms of the imperatives of energy saving and the respect for the environment. Strengthened by our experience in France and thanks to our innovative approaches to natural ventilation, zero energy blocks and eco-towns, ANMA is hoping to work with the actors of Chinese real-estate to find made-to-measure solutions, adapted to the climate and to the lifestyle of Chinese society. All scales will be tackled: housing complexes, new quarters, city extensions; every time a suitable ecological approach will be put into place, answering programme requirements in a thoughtful way and while taking into account resource availability, inbuilt qualities of of the landscape and the genius loci.
